Euphonium Duet to be Premiered in New Jersey

A new version of a euphonium duet by Andrew will be premiered in New Jersey on 23rd April 2022. Guest soloist David Childs will be joined by Aaron VanderWeele in My One Foundation, accompanied by the New York Staff Band as part of its annual Spring Festival.

The duet was written in tribute to Steef Klepke, who was sadly diagnosed with terminal cancer, at the request of Michel Rosenquist, the Amsterdam Staff Band’s principal euphonium. It features two of Steef's favourite hymns - Aurelia and I'm in His Hands. The concert will be held at West Side Presbyterian Church, Ridgewood, NJ.

The duet was originally scored with piano accompaniment but has been arranged to be performed with brass band.
